this is really lame but
it has been such a shit year, with the earthquakes and all. tonight it was nice to just sit and watch the tv and be happy about winning the world cup rather than all the horrible stuff. winning doesn’t take away all the bad things and it doesn’t fix anything and it’s just a game but it’s nice to be able to celebrate. so proud to be a new zealander.
